From “O dil!Just go to hell” to “Ae zindagi gale laga le”, the journey of a girl named Kiara took a different walkway. There are many Kiaras but they don’t have someone like Jug who could help them to gain new perspective towards their life. A chaotic girl who wasn’t aware as to where her life is leading, meets an unconventional thinker who helps her to unlock the way to happiness. Dear Zindagi was a message that helped many to realize that happiness is not about having a perfect life but its more to find comforts in those imperfections. Shah Rukh Khan plays an extremely different and incredible role as Dr. Jahangir Khan, a psychologist who helps Kiara.
“Tum agar khulkar ro nahi sakogi toh khulkar has kaise sakogi”
Actually it’s completely okay to say what you feel. It’s okay to grieve when you are sad, it’s fine to react if you are angry and it’s normal to be jealous. Dear Zindagi taught us that there is nothing wrong in expressing your feelings whether its your happiness or your anger.
“Hum kitni khursiyan dekhte hai, try karte hai ek khurshi ko khareedne se pehle, toh apne life partner ko choose karne se pehle options dekhne mein kya problem hai.”
Our society believes that a girl has no right to choose her life partner but it’s your life and it should be your choice. If we consider options before buying a chair, a car even, a shampoo then I guess there is nothing wrong to consider options before choosing a partner.
“Albert Einstein ne ek baar kaha tha – pagal who hota hai jo roz roz ek hi kaam karta hai aur chahta hai nateeje alag ho”
Breaking the monotony and taking risks, there is nothing wrong about it. If you think you deserve something exceptional, then you need to be that one from those thousands.
“Zindagi ek jigsaw puzzle ki tarah hai, I can help you to find a piece but you will have to complete the game”
Life is not all the time about fairy tales, but it’s a roller-coaster ride with many ups and downs but how to overcome those hurdles and find optimism depends upon the individuals.
“Zindagi mein jab koi pattern yaa adat banti hui dikhayi de na toh uske bare mein ache se soch lena chahiye, genius is about knowing when to stop.”
Often seeking peace of mind, leads to the destination, which are agonizing and distressing. But a genius always know when to stop and safe-guards them from hurtful circumstances.
“Genius woh nahi hota jiske pass har sawal ka jawab hota hai, genius woh hota hai jiske pass har jawab tak pahuchneka patience hota hai”
Accomplishment and achievement requires patience. Being successful is not overnight, it requires years and years of hard work and perseverance.
It’s all in our hands, either to create our destiny or destroy our lives. The movie “DEAR ZINDAGI” gave the audience many inspiring advises that includes stop being hard on yourself, it’s okay to grieve, give your parents a second chance and many more. Decide and commit that yes! We are all the teachers of our own life.
