When I was asked to write something about SRK related to Rakshabandhan, my first reaction was reallyyyy? Can never think of SRK related to a brother…but then when I gave it some more thought it came to my mind that who would not like to have a brother like SRK??

A caring and protective person who respects women and has always lived by it as an example!! Shehnaz Lala Rukh Khan may not want to be in the limelight but Shah Rukh has always spoken about her so fondly and is an integral part of their family.

During his speech at the Davos Crystal Charity award in 2018 he said “I want to thank my sister, my wife and my little daughter for bringing me up well and teaching me the value of requesting, sometimes imploring and begging a yes from a woman, instead of forcing it upon her.”

And indeed he has imbibed all the values that show the mark of a true gentleman.

They have been through the loss of their parents together and faced their share of ups and downs. In the interview below SRK says “God’s honest truth” where he talks about how both have handled their loss differently. Although, Shehnaz had gone into depression SRK chose to immerse himself in work and “act” his worries through. With treatment and of course the support of the entire family she is much better now and SRK affectionately calls her “the child of God”.

See for yourself a heartfelt expression

On a cuter note he also got Rakhi tied from Didi :):)

He says he waits for her call on Rakshabandhan…soooo sweet 😉

And of course in the movies

Caring Anil from King uncle

Cutie pie Sunil from Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa

Every brother & sister have the most playful time with each other which involves teeny tiny fights, pulling each other’s leg or saving the day for each other. The scene below is a sweet teasing between Sunil & Nikki

“Wah Bhaiya Economics mein bhi Anna, Accounts mein bhi Anna…..

Mera toh sirf ek hi favourite Subject hai …. Anna, Anna aur sirf Anna”

Protective Max from Josh

Max & Shirley had a very protective relationship with each other where they were the pillars of strength in the absence of their parents and so our Shah Rukh and Shehnaz LalaRukh

This still doesn’t change my mind and I will never get brother-sister feelings for Shah Rukh Khan but he is a sweetheart at any relationship!!!

Happy Rakshabandhan to all brothers & sisters!!! Be there for each other in good and bad times they will come and go but the love and bond you share will remain forever.

Bhavnidhi Kalra

An eternal SRK lover
